Our story
Bikemember is a Norwegian company founded and run by Ole Jørgensen, a former Falck employee in both Norway and Denmark. Ole shares our passion for cycling and recognised the need for better protection of bikes after Falck wound down its monopoly as bike register in Norway in 2017. This opened the door for new FG-approved bike registers such as BikeMember, aimed at giving cyclists greater peace of mind.
The founder of BikeMember previously worked as CFO at Falck Redning and, with deep knowledge of the old register, started a competing register to Securmark (the company that bought Falck's register). BikeMember is a modern successor to Falck Sykkelregister, but with focus on a newer, better and more user-friendly digital system.
We want it to be as simple and safe as possible to register your bike and reach out to bike owners when needed. This is one good reason we became the first bike register to receive FG approval in 2017. Of the current bike registers in Norway, BikeMember is therefore the oldest FG-approved bike register today.
Our vision
Our vision is clear: to minimise bike theft and make it easier to return lost bikes to their rightful owners. We exist for cyclists, and we are constantly developing new and innovative bike services as part of our subscriptions. Our goal is nothing less than to become the Nordics' largest bike register by offering the best and most user-friendly software solution on the market.

Meet the team
- Ole Jørgensen — Founder and CEO. The brain behind Bikemember. Danish, with a background from Falck in both Norway and Denmark. A passionate cyclist who understands the need to protect bikes better.
- Binyamin Mahmoud Abdulkhadir — Customer service lead. Has worked at Bikemember since 2020 with long experience from customer service and daily operations.
- Linn Pedersen — Customer service lead. Joined Bikemember in summer 2022. Handles customer service and works on the design and content of the website.
