E-scooter registration is no longer possible

We want to inform you of an important update regarding e-scooter registration at Bikemember. In summer 2022 the Norwegian government changed the law so we are no longer allowed to register e-scooters in our register.

The change tightens the rules and is intended to improve traffic safety for e-scooter users, who are now subject to the same rules as other vehicles — including walking pace on pavements and a ban on motorways and certain cycle paths.

As a consequence Bikemember can no longer register e-scooters. We apologise for any inconvenience and encourage all e-scooter owners to read up on the updated rules.

Bikemember is still available for all other bike types and we remain committed to safer cycling. If you have questions, please contact us directly.
